Dr. Richard A. Weaver is practicing out of National Spine & Pain Centers’ Greenville, North Carolina office where he uses his 25 years of experience in medicine to address his patients’ acute and chronic pain. During his career as an anesthesiologist and pain specialist, Dr. Weaver has performed more than 30,000 procedures ranging from intradiscal procedures to decompress a herniated disc to spinal cord stimulation for the treatment of neuropathic pain.

Dr. Weaver earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and completed his internship at the Osteopathic Medical Center of Philadelphia. He then performed his residency in anesthesiology at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and his fellowship in anesthesiology and pain management at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, AZ.

Dr. Weaver is board certified in pain medicine and anesthesiology.
