Dr. Micovic received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical School of the University of Rijeka in Croatia and completed his internship and residency in Emergency Medicine and Surgery at University Hospital in Rijeka. From 1989 to 1995, he was a research associate at The Hospital for Sick Children at the University of Toronto. He completed an Internal Medicine internship, residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Micovic came to Fort Myers in 2000 to practice Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Lee Memorial Health System facilities. He is Board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is a member of a number of professional organizations.
