Dr. Micovic received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical School of the University of Rijeka in Croatia and completed his internship and residency in Emergency Medicine and Surgery at University Hospital in Rijeka. From 1989 to 1995, he was a research associate at The Hospital for Sick Children at the University of Toronto. He completed an Internal Medicine internship, residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

Dr. Micovic came to Fort Myers in 2000 to practice Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Lee Memorial Health System facilities. He is Board-certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is a member of a number of professional organizations.

Dr Mickovic is one of the best dr.s I have ever had. He is concerned, listens, and injects the right spot and gives advise on how to reduce pain with stretches and proper lifting.

I would recommend anyone that I know to go to your practice. I am more than pleased with the care that I have received there .I have had a pain pump for 20years and in that time I have been to several Dr's in different states and I can honestly say that your physician and the staff at this Dr's office is the best and #1 in my book. Thanks to everyone there for taking such great care of me .

Dr Micovic is a wonderful doctor and he went above and beyond of what most doctors would do to help me get treatment. I love having him as my doctor. I am very grateful to him. I am extremely sad to see him retire. I wish him well and pray I get a great doctor again after he leaves.
