Matthew R. Boothby

Matthew R. Boothby, PA-C, earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center. He brings 16 years of interventional pain management experience to his practice, applying extensive clinical knowledge to help patients manage acute and chronic pain conditions effectively. In addition to his pain management work, Matthew spent 4–5 years practicing as a neurosurgical PA, assisting in numerous brain and spine surgical procedures. This dual experience has given him a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of neurological and spinal disorders, allowing him to approach patient care with a uniquely informed perspective. Matthew is passionate about improving patients’ quality of life through minimally invasive treatments. He values patient-centered care, thoughtful communication, and individualized treatment plans that support long-term comfort, mobility, and overall well-being.
