Farida Arrabel Diego, FNP-C, completed her Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner program at Duke University, building on more than thirteen years of experience as an intensive care nurse. Her background in critical care has shaped her strong clinical judgment, her ability to navigate complex medical situations, and her deep appreciation for the emotional and physical challenges patients face throughout their healthcare journey. After transitioning into advanced practice, Farida has spent nearly two years as a nurse practitioner, where she continues to integrate her ICU expertise into comprehensive, patient-centered care. Farida’s clinical interests include holistic and integrative approaches to chronic pain management, with a focus on treating the whole person rather than just the symptoms. She values the importance of understanding each patient’s unique goals, lifestyle, and health history, and she works collaboratively to develop individualized plans that support long-term relief and overall wellness.
