About
Danielle Gibbens, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Virginia Commonwealth University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Excelsior College. She brings more than fifteen years of nursing experience across diverse clinical areas, including pediatrics and her work as a nurse educator with Inova, where she cultivated a strong foundation in patient advocacy, clinical instruction, and comprehensive care delivery. Danielle has spent the past year specializing in interventional pain medicine, where she has found great fulfillment in partnering with patients to identify the sources of their chronic pain and develop targeted treatment plans that support improved mobility and overall quality of life. She values a collaborative, patient-centered approach and is committed to helping individuals feel empowered, informed, and supported throughout their care journey. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband and children and staying active through hiking, skiing, running, and yoga. She also volunteers with the Shenandoah Mountain Rescue Group, where she assists in locating and rescuing lost or injured hikers—an extension of her deep commitment to service, community, and compassionate care.
