Marina G. Protopapas, D.O. is practicing out of National Spine & Pain Centers’ Fair Oaks, VA center. She is diligent and thoughtful in the practice of her profession. With an unwavering focus on quality of care, she takes an individualized and comprehensive approach with each patient.

She earned her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She served as Chief Resident during her residency and completed specialized fellowship training at Harvard Medical School/Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. A published author on various rehabilitation and pain management topics, Dr. Protopapas has also served as a guest lecturer in Harvard’s continuing medical education program. She is Board-certified in both Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and a Diplomat of both the American Academy of Pain Management and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
