Neerav J Bhatla, MD
About
Dr. Jay Bhatla is a fellowship-trained interventional pain management specialist who is double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He takes pride in providing patient-centered care and developing individualized treatment plans for his patients to assist them in maintaining their active lifestyles and improve their quality of life. He is an expert in providing minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic injections that can decrease the need for extensive surgery.
After earning a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, he received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. The University of Illinois served as the site for his internship, residency in anesthesiology and fellowship focusing on pain medicine. Dr Bhatla brings nearly a decade of experience as a practicing physician in the field of pain management to the National Spine and Pain Centers.
Dr. Bhatla is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Spine Intervention Society. His training and experience have contributed to his philosophy of quality patient care with an understanding and respect for chronic pain. His pleasant demeanor and excellent bedside manner help put patients at ease during an often difficult time.
