Earlier this week, Peter Staats, MD – NSPC’s Chief Medical Officer – provided members of Congress and their staffers a briefing on alternatives to opioids. Held at congressional visitors center, others presenting with Dr. Staats, left to right, included David Reece, MD (White House Pain Physician), Alex Balbir, PhD (Wounded Warrior Project), Dan Goldberger ( CEO Electrocore), Jesse Ayer (a veteran with headaches) , and Sherrie Ayer (spouse).
