Prolotherapy

Testimonial: Ankle-Foot Pain

Lorna Case, Construction Estimator
Six years ago, I landed on my head during a parachute jump at Fort Bragg, NC. I tore every ligament in my neck, had multiple bulging discs, tore my ribcage away from my spine, a head injury, my tailbone was broken, tore my sacroiliac joints, the first 4 ribs on the right side of my ribcage stuck out so much that it looked like I had 4 clavicles, tore my jaw ligaments, etc. The pain was a combination of feeling like I was carrying a piano around on top of my head, that someone was trying to remove my muscles from the bone with a crowbar, and like someone had hit me in the back of the head with a baseball bat.

The pain never subsided, even for a minute, no matter what I did. I had no hope of recovery, as no doctor would do anything but prescribe morphine or tell me that I shouldn't be hurting so much, until my father (chiropractor) made me see a prolotherapist. I started prolotherapy in NC with another doctor and have continued treatments when I moved up here with Dr. Wagner and now Dr. Friedlis. I'm an extreme case (I had no muscles left on the back of my neck and couldn't move or hold up my head) in that it has taken so many treatments and years to get me well, but I would certainly be dead without their help.

I recommend prolotherapy to everyone I meet. I carry both Dr. Wagner and Dr. Friedlis' cards with me everywhere I go so that I can spread the word. Thanks to them, I walk for an hour every day, work full-time, and also sing opera for two hours every evening. I will be able to start performing again at the end of this year thanks to these brave doctors who go against the grain and really cure their patients, not just medicate them. I'm so grateful to have a 2nd chance to live again and be well. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

Thanks Dr. Wagner!
