Testimonials: General Pain
Helen Morgan, Flight Attendant
I would like to take this opportunity to say how much I appreciate the opportunity of having your physician's assistant, Maggie, treat me. She is extremely knowledgeable, answers all my questions, and never makes me feel like I am taking up her time. Maggie's patience, compassion, and knowledge is priceless. I hope you know what a true "gem" you have working for you. She gave me all the information (and courage) I needed to start my prolotherapy sessions. Thank you.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for the excellent care I have received from you and all the other medical practitioners working at the Javier office. I have seen so many different doctors over the past three and half years since my work accident, but you are the one physician I have complete trust in. I also want to take this opportunity to mention one other person whose skill and compassion has been invaluable in my fight to obtain the medical care I need through the workers? compensation insurance carrier assigned to my case. This person is your office manager Kevin Gartland. Kevin has spent the last two years making countless calls trying to get authorizations for my care when his likelihood of success was far from probable. This has never deterred him. He played an important part in the preparation for my day in court two weeks ago to plead my case to a workers? compensation commissioner. I do not yet know the outcome of my suit but if it is decided in my favor! Kevin will have the satisfaction of knowing he was very instrumental in that success. The compassion he has shown me and likely all your other patients is uncommon, and I just want you to know that I am very grateful.

I'm 79 years old, have a wretched spine, have suffered with lower back pain for many yrs. I have been on Hydrocodone 4-6 per day to find relief. When the pain increased, I "graduated" to duragesic 25mcg/h patches for help. I visited a spine surgeon. After taking a multitude of tests, his final diagnosis came down to this: "I'm not going to touch your spine"... A friend mentioned prolotherapy and Dr. Mayo Friedlis. Without too much hope, I made my way to the Capitol Spine & Pain Center. Dr. Friedlis encouraged me to try prolo... It worked! Awesome! Not only do I not use vicodin or duragesic patches anymore, I don't even need to take tylenol. What a relief to be able to live without pain. My thanks go to Dr. Friedlis for his expertise (and his helpful staff). Life is good.
