Testimonial: Kate Facemire

Kate FacemireKate Facemire has had chronic pain since she was a teenager. As a result of a spinal disorder, she underwent anterior and posterior spinal fusion surgery at age thirteen. For over fifteen years she was faced with several doctors, procedures, clinics and therapy. Kate accepted anything thrown at her to help the pain and help her lead a normal life. There was no consistency in the treatments or in the way the pain came and went. Because of that inconsistency, there was no way to know what the future would hold. “Having chronic pain is a physical and emotional daily aggravation. The lack of any stable way to manage the pain makes it even worse.” When almost all ideas were exhausted, Kate turned to Capital Spine & Pain Centers for a new approach.

When Kate came to Capitol Spine & Pain Centers she wasn’t looking for the magic solution to solve her chronic daily pain. Instead, she was looking for someone to work with her and help manage the pain. She wanted someone to listen and acknowledge her situation. “It means everything to have a team of doctors that are always there for you and present fresh ideas about managing chronic pain. They cared about my pain and my future.” Stability and hope are the things that allow Kate to push the pain aside and continue living her life the way she wants…..achieving her dreams.
