Dr. Kristoffer de Lara Leads a Lecture on Treating Chronic Pain

Dr. Kristoffer de Lara, a pain management physician in Germantown MD,recently delivered a lecture at Worldshine Adult Medical Day Care Center, also in Germantown. Dr. de Lara was joined by his colleagues in National Spine & Pain Centers Germantown office Brittany Coleman, PA-C and Center Manager Ayana Green.
Nearly 100 people attended the lecture including patients and medical personnel. Dr. de Lara addressed the general topic of pain and the medical specialty of pain management. The presentation covered different conditions including spinal stenosis, facet joint syndrome and possible treatments including epidural injections, spinal joint injections, sacroiliac joint injection, joint injections and image-guided injections. The material presented, which also included when it is appropriate to seek care from the pain management specialists at National Spine & Pain Centers, was well-received by the physicians in attendance and was followed by a great Q&A session.
Dr. de Lara believes successful pain management begins with recognizing that every patient–and their pain–is unique. Honest, compassionate and understanding, Dr. de Lara provides excellent diagnostic and technical skills that have earned him the trust of his patients and colleagues alike.
