Dr. Balint has published and presented on many topics including SI joint syndrome, spinal stenosis, sports injury, occupational low back pain and interventional pain techniques. He joined Capitol Spine & Pain Centers in 1989, and soon developed a reputation for excellence within his field. He has been selected repeatedly by his peers as one of the region's Top Doctors in WASHINGTONIAN Magazine's physician survey.

Committed to improving quality of life for his patients, Dr. Balint is passionate about learning the newest techniques and breakthrough therapies. He is skilled in a broad scope of non-surgical pain management techniques, including fluoroscopic-guided injections, radiofrequency neurotomy, Prolotherapy and a range of other advanced procedures. Dr Balint is a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management and a Fellow of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He maintains several active memberships, including the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the American Academy of Pain Management.
