Valerie Holzherr, PA-C

Valerie Holzherr joined Capitol Spine & Pain Centers in 2005 and works with Dr. Daniel Kendall on a predominantly interventional team to address the needs of their patients with chronic and acute pain.

At CSPC, Valerie’s enthusiasm for medicine and life has helped hone her skills in diagnosing and treating her patients with careful medical management and various interventions. She is proficient in her injection skills into muscles and peripheral joints. Valerie enjoys providing education to her patients as they are treated with a variety of cutting-edge options for various painful complaints. Valerie is "excited to work in a practice that is constantly keeping up with the latest and most innovative treatments."

Valerie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Long Island University/Brooklyn Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Binghamton University in Binghamton, NY.

Valerie began her career as a Physician Assistant in a private, fast-paced internal medicine practice in New York, NY.

Valerie is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants. She is licensed in Virginia and Washington, DC, and in December 2003 published an article in the Journal of Herpetology.

Valerie resides in DC. She enjoys spending time with friends, running, and traveling.

Valerie earned her bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Long Island University/Brooklyn Medical Center, and her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Binghamton University. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant and holds professional membership in the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Virginia Academy of Physician Assistants.
