Suzanne Lagosky, DO

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Lagosky has made Richmond her home since 1993, serving the community as a highly skilled practitioner in pain management. Providing effective, non-surgical solutions, she has helped many people relieve their pain and return to active lifestyles. In January 2007, Dr. Lagosky joined Capitol Spine & Pain Centers, enhancing our medical team with her exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge.

As a physiatrist, Dr. Lagosky takes a holistic approach to diagnosing and treating pain. Understanding the intricate relationship of the neurological and musculoskeletal systems of the human body, she evaluates each patient as a whole. She then develops a comprehensive treatment plan that not only addresses the source of pain, but also restores maximum function, prevents future or recurring pain problems, and improves quality of life.

Dr. Lagosky specializes in osteopathic manipulative treatment, injury prevention, electromyography (EMG), sports medicine, interventional pain management (including injections), and exercise prescription. She is also skilled in the regenerative technique of prolotherapy.

Dr. maintains active memberships in the Richmond Academy of Medicine, the Medical Society of Virginia, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Lagosky is active in the community, attending arts and sporting events and enjoying her favorite hobbies of tennis, running, boating, cooking, and singing.
