Margaret E. Beach, PA-C

Margaret Beach joined Capitol Spine & Pain Centers in Spring 2008 and works with Dr. Abraham Cherrick in providing quality pain management to their patients.

She helps to provide medication management, intra-articular joint injections, and trigger point therapy for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain, and combines her medical knowledge with dedication and compassion to provide quality health care for her patients.

Prior to joining CSPC, Margaret worked in the Neurosurgery Department at Georgetown University, where she served as first surgical assistant. Before moving to Northern Virginia, she worked in Neurology in North Carolina, excelling in migraine management. Her prior experience in Neurology has helped her to address a variety of neurologic causes of pain.

Margaret earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Kentucky in 2006, she had previously earned a Master of Clinical Nutrition in 2003. She attended Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2000.

Margaret is board certified as a Physician Assistant in Virginia, Washington, DC, and North Carolina. She was a certified Nutritionist in Kentucky and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Margaret enjoys living close to her sister and her new nephew. She enjoys horseback riding, hiking, biking, running, and rollerblading.

Margaret earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA, and two master’s degrees – in Clinical Nutrition and Physician Assistant Studies – from the University of Kentucky/Lexington. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant, and is certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Automated External Defibrillator, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support. She holds professional membership in the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
