Jatinder Narula, MD

A native of Northern Virginia, Dr. Narula joined Capitol Spine & Pain Centers after finishing advanced fellowship training in pain management at Washington Hospital Center/National Rehabilitation Hospital. A talented pain specialist, Dr. Narula's skills are well regarded among his peers. He was selected as Chief Resident during his residency at Georgetown University/National Rehabilitation Hospital and twice awarded Resident of the Year.

Taking a comprehensive approach to treating pain, Dr. Narula incorporates non-surgical techniques, physical therapy, and pharmacotherapy into customized treatment plans that restore function and effectively resolve pain. He is skilled in the full range of fluoroscopic-guided interventions, including therapeutic epidural injections, sympathetic blockade, radiofrequency ablation, discography, and spinal cord stimulation. He is also experienced with peripheral joint injections.

Dr. Narula has lectured on several topics, including neuropathic pain, low back injuries, discogenic pain, and the use of interventional procedures. Dedicated to helping people regain pain-free lifestyles, Dr. Narula continues to explore new developments and breakthrough treatments.

Dr. Narula maintains active memberships in the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Academy of Pain Management and International Spine Intervention Society.

A multi-linguist, Dr. Narula also speaks French, Hindi, and Punjabi and enjoys basketball, music, and traveling.
