Amy McKee, PA-C
Amy McKee joined Capitol Spine & Pain Centers in 2009 and teams with Dr. Rodney Dade to meet the needs of patients who suffer from acute and/or chronic pain.
At Capitol Spine & Pain Centers, Amy helps develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients suffering from acute and chronic pain, as well as provide trigger point therapy and intra-articular joint injections.
Amy earned her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Stony Brook University. Upon her graduation, the PA Program presented her with the 2009 Award for Professional and Community Service based on her role as Chief Delegate of the Student Academy to the AAPA House of Delegates. Amy also completed a rotation in Oaxaca, Mexico where she supported medical treatment programs to rural communities, and was able to hone her clinical examination skills, and her medical Spanish usage.
Amy is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Amy grew up in Texas and has called the DC Metro Area home for over 10 years. She lives in Virginia with her husband. She is an experienced SCUBA diver and a novice surfer.
Amy earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Stony Brook University. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Southwestern University, a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Georgetown University, and is fluent in Spanish. She is a board-certified Physician Assistant, and is further certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Basic Disaster Life Support. She holds professional membership in the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
